If you are a Rhode Island residential customer interested in having an Energy Specialist conduct an energy assessment at your home at no cost, please complete and submit this form. Once we receive your information, a Customer Service representative will contact you by phone to schedule the assessment.
Air sealing and insulation may be recommended as part of the assessment. You could receive a rebate of 25% or 75%, up to a maximum of $2750 depending on your fuel type, for the cost of insulation and air sealing improvements. The incentive is provided upon installation of insulation and inspection for quality, health, and safety.
Rebate offers may vary based on the fuel you use to heat your home and program availability. You must own and occupy the premises, which must be a single family home with 1-4 units. An in-home energy assessment must be conducted by 10/31/14, and must be conducted prior to participation in any rebate programs. All improvements must be completed by 11/30/14. Rebate form and documentation must be postmarked by 12/15/14. Offers are subject to change or cancellation at any time due to funding constraints.
